Looks really nice. I am anxious to see what all the sections will be like. I like the Clone Wars theme as a header.

Oops, sorry, was looking at the Joined date by mistake: it looked like it hadn't been used since 2002

Well, the newest design updates are up for my site. Basic back-end structure for the site is created along with most of the design completed. Almost. There are a few transitional images in the background I have to finish so everything is flush with one another and other little details to finish it up.

Of course all functionality isn't complete yet, like the translations when you click the flag, etc but I do have the disclaimer and privacy policy up! Well, the important stuff is on there, can't say I'm completely done but it's a start! More should be up very soon along with the beginning of the actual site! Tell me what you think.

And once again, please give me your comments and IDEAS!

I am on an 800 x 600 resolution at home and when I rest the mouse over a major topic and get a menu, it is off to the right of the button. I can't get into the list before it goes away or becomes a list for the button next to it. I end up chasing menus. I hope that makes sense. I will check at work when I am on 1024 x 768 to see if that problem exists in that resolution.

I run at 1024x768 at home and otherwise, and it seems to be working fine in both Firefox and IE. As for the 800x600 problem, I'll check into it immediately! Thanks for the heads-up!

[Edit] Weird though, since using my old site design, the menus always were right where they needed to be no matter of resolution. Guess I'll be looking into it more.

Well I finally fixed the issue with the menus. It took a little bit of work to figure out again how to make the menus show up relative to the linked images themselves rather than to the screen. Turned out to be really easy to do but lots of thinking.

Still working on the design... I know, you're saying "STILL!" But I'm just not completely sure on what I'd like for the main logo header. Here is my next concept for the header.

The colors on the clone trooper's helmet and shoulders would change to correspond to the colors of the section you are under, like on the drop-down menus. Tell me what you think and which you prefer.

I know this isn't going to help much, but I like both ideas. The Clone Wars is different because you don't see uch of that around. On the other hand, you can't go wrong with clone troopers in my book. I would like to see how the different colored clones looke before making a final determination.

It all basically comes down to what you like best. I have decided to go with a much more simple theme for my site, even though others may not like it as much. I just felt that I needed a break from all the collages and get down to simple basics. It came down to what I think I like best.

JM,

Since you are around a little these days, I have a burning question...

When do we get to see the "Real Jedi Source?" 8) Any ETA?

Looks nice; didn't know it was there. Just tried to look at the concept art and images sections but got the "The page cannot be found" message. So I guess you mean it isn't fully operational?
