Yes, fan art is an awesome escape...but sometimes you can sadly lose interest in it depending on how long you've been working with a certain favorite.

Thanx Viper 2843

I agree Jedi Illadriel I do all my stuff in PSP and oftem get frustrated when I can't get stuff to look as I want (like faces, I'm terrible at faces) This will frustrate me and I'll put out of mind for a month or more.

Yes, same here. ^_^ Everyone, including you and I, have to keep practicing. ^_^ I just got into drawing realistic faces; I tried drawing aragorn, it looked okay, but it didn't look like him. XD I have a problem when it comes to drawing portraits of people. XD
I think drawing cartoons are way easier. XD

Actual drawing and painting is a thousand times for difficult and frustrating than anything I can do on the computer. (this is why I often shy away from such work). but I know it can be tenthousand times more rewarding when it turns out the way you want, and I know you are very good Jedi Illadriel.

Again, Same here as well. (I shy away sometimes too). Yes, it's rewarding, but soem people (like me) get embarrassed or shy when we get comments about our work.
*blushes* thanks ^_^

So, you love graphic arts? That's awesome! I'm horrible with it. XD

My latest in pastels. I actually haven't drawn anything in months. This is one of the last drawings I finished, I should say :)

Good job, I wish I was better at drawing. I am pretty good at other crafts, just not drawing. *sigh* much to my disappointment.

The drawing has a nice ethereal quality to it Abrynne. The ease of drawing with pastels is always the fun part of them.
