Well my company still hasn't released our big update yet. I'm hoping it will happen this week. So my spare time is still a bit rare. I pushed a couple of minor tweaks to the style this weekend. I also had to take a minor detour to update the board software to version 3.0.12. Mostly bug fixes and security updates. I will hopefully have some better news this coming weekend.

I am sure it will be great once all the updates are done. Hopefully the updates will be ready soon. :)

You may have thought I have forgotten about this but I most certainly have not. I have been hard at work all year on getting a new design up and running.

I decided to pivot slightly as I have been having a very frustrating time working with the PHPBB 3.0.x template engine. Since version 3.1.x of PHPBB will use a much nicer template engine, I switched my focus to making my new theme work for version 3.1 instead. This version is currently in beta and I am testing it locally. Once that version of PHPBB is release I will hopefully be ready to cut over the SW Forums to the new engine.

I am really excited at the work I have done so far and am looking forward to sharing it with everyone.

Update:

Um...Uh...Yeah...About my whole weekly progress reports. Didn't happen. Life got in the way. But I'm moving again on the project.

I got the boards updated to phpBB 3.1 which was a big blocker for me to finish all of this.

Please explore the new features and let me know if there are any feature requests you would like me to add (other than a new custom theme. That is coming).

Looks good to me! Nice work! I just noticed my signature line has a space in-between each line. I did the quick post. Don't know if that matters or not.

I would try editing your signature and saving it again. It probably needs to be saved using the new software to work out the formatting differences.
