Bevel Lemelisk

Post by sith-warrior » Thu Jan 30, 2003 5:38 pm

What is Bevel Lemelisk's biography besides the whole time in the Death star? I was very disappointed that in Darksaber that they did not go more in depth into the character as they usually would. I am wondering about his personnal life like family, growing up, and how he got into the Empire. Also how did he die. Is there a book or a website that would answer my questions?

There is a really good bio for him in The New Esential Guide to Characters on page 112. He was responsible for the Death Star, but also helped to design the Victory Star Destroyer, the Death Star prototype, the Tarkin, the Second Death Star, the Eclipse, and the Darksaber. He was captured by the New Republic and sentenced to death. He spent four years on Orinackra before facing the firing squad. If you would like to know more about some of his work, here are a few links:

I think Attack of the Clones has invalidated that bit. At least, he can't claim the design.

According to The New Esential Guide to Characters, it states that he aided the Geonosians with the design. We just did not see him in Attak of the Clones.

Yea, my thoughts exactly JP. I'm sure he is still involved with the design process.
