What's the closest thing to a chronelogical order?

Post by JediMasterQuiGonJinn » Tue Feb 18, 2003 5:18 pm

Hey guys.
I have just recently started getting into some of the Star Wars books, and now that I have I can't believe I hadn't done so earlier! Anyways...focus...
I was wondering if you could help me out, I don't know what books to be reading and in what order so I don't miss anything and get confused.

So far I have read:

Cloak of Deception
Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter
Episode I: The Phantom Menace
The Approaching Storm
Episode II: Attack of the Clones
The Bounty Hunter Wars: The Mandalorian Armor
The Bounty Hunter Wars: Slave Ship (just started)
The Bounty Hunter Wars: Hard Merchandise (about to read)
Rouge Planet (about to read)

Any suggestions as to which books are good and which ones I should read? (and in what order) Thanks so much for your help ahead of time!

anyways.
i found this link and you might wanna check it out.

I have read every piece of EU that takes place before and following ROTJ, when you write stories like I do you need to know as much as possible. I'm a perfectionist so when I write I try very hard to have my novels fall right into place with the actual order. The time line generally starts at the Battle of Yavin (B.B.Y.) and is set up with anything before B.B.Y. is listed as B.B..Y and anything after B.B.Y. is listed as A.B.Y. which then place the Battle of Yavin at year 0, got it? This is according to Star Wars: the Essential Chronology.

Thanks Jedi Master.

It took me 2 hours to type out last night, but it does cover practically everything, save maybe a few scattered comics here and there that have been released in recent years.

It's good to know 2 things when your a SW fanfic author.
1)The timeline and history
2)the galaxy layout

I just hope this list helps someone my friend.

PT :)
