Definately a NO! for the PC. Booooooo!!!!! I am not buying a system just for that game. PC players unite!

I completely agree JP. I have few games, and less money. The ones I do have are all PC based. I am with you on this one!

All I can say is they are eliminating their orginal Star Wars video game fan base who used PCs to play games before the consoles were really an equal player in the field. A lot of revenue will be lost as well.

I think this is setting a precedence for all Star Wars games moving forward. Meaning, the PC may very well have been replaced by consoles and we will not see any future Star Wars games on the PC. I certainly hope not, but as Han would say...

To be honest all the news I have read about upcoming games make it seem like your bad feeling is correct. Always trust your feelings. The systems seem to be giving a better percentage to the Lucas company than general pc games. Perhaps that is for the younger market. Whatever the reason I think still think it is a shame that they are opting to go this route. I feel if they market it correctly there is a lot more to be made expanding their market share to PCs and PC games rather than limiting themselves. However, Lucas has not always been forward thinking with every project. Perhaps they will see the light later on this one JP.

I guess they figured at this point there are more new and younger gamers that will play systems vs. us older original PC fans. They are going where the dollar is I guess. Shame for me though. I really don't feel like forking out $500 for a Star Wars only game system ever year or two. I really don't care about other video games, just the Star Wars ones.

I think one of the things that happened was the ability for a console to go online for multiplayer gaming. Before that ability, the PC was the only place where you could play lots of people on the Internet but that is no longer the case. Combine that will the consoles ability to match PC graphics without shelling out large sums of money every couple of years for computer upgrades (you only need to spend money on a new console every 5 years instead of every 2 for most computer upgrades) and you can quickly see why the console has gained in popularity. I consider myself to be a pretty big gamer (I have been since I was 6) so I have both PC games and consoles. I think there are certain games that are better for PC than console and vise versa. I think LucasArts is just looking at the stats and figuring that lots of people have consoles and are pushing that market. Its unfortunate because there are good games that should be published on the PC and are not because of the financial data. Only time will tell as to how much PC gaming will suffer with the new consoles.

I am all for the PC players!! But I have X-box 360 too, I got it for christmas last year. I am sure soon they will see the mistake they made and make it for PC too. :D

I also think with in the next 5-6 years when the next new systems come out they will be WAY different, and the games for X-box will work on PC, PSP, Play stations..... All the games will work on every thing, Its just a matter of what system you want it for. And to fear! Soon when I can work, I will start my on gaming company and be a Gamer Remaker, and take all the old favorites and modernize them (takeing the same basic story line (90% of it) and make brand new graphics, game play and audio for what game we are doing. That is what I plan to do with games like USAF, KOTOR sieres, Star Trek Games, Call of Duty 2, and possible Forced unleashed, if it is very good. But that will be only one part of the job, My company will also make our own games and what not for all system play.

September 16. Go figure; just in time for the holiday season. Does anyone actually release anything during the rest of the year. Oh well. I guess I will put it on the holiday wish list. :D

Here's a link I got from someone who does a pretty good rundown of the game including some of the voice information and plotlines and such. I hope this is not a duplicate of what is already here, but I didn't see it from what I could tell.

The latest webdoc for The Force Unleashed has been released called A New Chapter: The Story of the Force Unleashed. I have provided it in HD for you so it will be a longer download. Also be aware that this is discussing the story so there is a big spoiler warning!

I will not be able to get this game, but for anyone that does, I would love it if someone could rip the video scenes from this game so I can post them on Galactic Voyage. They are sooooo goood!

Anyway, for those that dare here is A New Chapter: The Story of the Force Unleashed. Enjoy!
